Right now it is time to really get stuck into it. Hopefully by now you have installed Visual C# Express 2010, XNA 4.0 and the Kinect SDK 1.0. If not head to Tutorial 0: Setting Up For Kinect first.

Kinect SDK 1.0 Released
Well technically version 1.0 of the Kinect SDK was released yesterday. Head over to Kinect for Windows Download for the latest SDK.
There are a few setup steps that will need to be completed if you have installed the SDK Beta 2.

Tutorial 0: Setting Up For Kinect
Welcome to the first post in a series of guides to help you get off the ground with Kinect and XNA. In these guides you will learn how to get Kinect installed on your Windows machine through to making your first Kinect game using XNA.
If you game here wanting XNA tutorials and you do not have a Kinect device do not worry, my plan is to create the game first, then add the Kinect interface so that all the bases are covered.

Welcome to Kinect XNA
Welcome to this blog which is going to cover the basic use of XNA and Kinect. I created this blog as I too used to look for XNA Tutorials to help me with something and to even get started so I know they can be useful. With the Kinect SDK almost released I thought it might some guidance for those interested in programming games or Kinect.
I aim to start by covering the basics of getting everything installed to actually creating a game and integrating other elements including physics.
Just a quick intro and I have posted the first tutorial, although it does not really cover a lot as I am about to head out.
